THIS APP IS FOR ROOTED PHONES ONLY!

AdFree removes most ads in the browser and other apps. It does this by nullifying requests to known host names in the system hosts file.

If you have problems with this app, or you know of additional host names not being filtered, please comment in xda-developers.com forum so it can be fixed!

Recent changes:
Now built against SDK 7 (Android 2.1+), however the app needs to be uninstalled and reinstalled to work properly, simply upgrading will cause a JAVA EOF error.

At least one user commented that they had to click the revert button in the app and then update the hosts file before the java error would go away for them.

Current version removed BTC IP option, too many users were causing excessive load on the server, this has also been disabled on the server so not upgrading wont keep this feature. | Work on touch screen tablet and Google Android tablet!
